Job Title : Project Engineer Location : Fremont, CA Duration : Full-time Job Description: We now have a fantastic opportunity for talented Project Engineer (5 to 8 Years of experience) specialised in Mechanical design for Electronic Modules in Automotive. Key Responsibilities: . Highly skilled level to develop product concepts and designs of Audio module assemblies and components. . Create 3D models, assembly drawings and component drawings of product designs using CATIA V5 software. . 2D drawing detailing with GD&T and Create tolerance stack-up analysis on a Audio assembly's components and its vehicle mounting interface . Uses analysis techniques such as the DFMEA to identify and assess design and manufacturing risks. . Experience in the design and engineering of injection-molded plastic components and Sheet metal components. . Knowledge of the APQP process and other Quality process. . Coordinate design / prototyping activities with supply base and also participate in internal design reviews . Effective interpersonal skills with internal and external customers is required . Excellent verbal and technical communication skills is required . Knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word is required Personal Attributes: . Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering is required, Master preferred . Delivery focused, with a demonstrable track record of on time delivery . Self-motivated to deliver excellence and perform beyond targets . The ability to lead, motivate and focus team members and suppliers to meet all program deliverables . Ability to deliver under pressure with an appetite for measured success . Advanced problem solving abilities . Able to connect and resolve with suppliers on all technical issues .
