*Rates: $45/Hr* *Interview mode: Phone then Skype* * Job Description: *Our Client is a Fortune 500 communications service provider that has grown through acquisitions over the past several years. They are in need of a QA Test Analyst whose primary responsibility is the assurance of product quality through test automation, code inspections, peer reviews, white-box testing using the Microsoft stack of technologies. You will participate in the design and implementation of requirements to achieve a set quality bar across applications. Your responsibilities will include analyzing requirements and understand their impact on existing systems. You will work with product management, development teams and quality teams to help define and implement automation suites, test harnesses, white-box test suites and testing. You will work closely with developers and extend automated unit test cases and share test code. You will help the QA team arrive at the correct set of black box test cases for any code change made during testing phase. REQUIREMENTS: • Bachelor's degree in a related subject matter or a minimum of 5+ years of direct professional experience in a software development role • Extensive experience with white-box testing to include test techniques and strong code coverage concepts and implementation • In depth understanding of the different layers of testing. • Experience with Selenium • Experience using the Microsoft web stack technologies • Experience with ASP.Net MVC 4+, WCF and Web API services, ASP.NET Web Forms (Legacy Applications), Visual Studio 2012+, Microsoft SQL Management Studio, Windows Server 2008+ and Microsoft SQL 2008+ • An understanding of the object oriented programming • An understanding of dependency inversion. • Ability to read, write, and debug queries • Experience in an agile environment • Ability to communicate testing requirements and issues clearly with developers, management and the business.
