The Business Objects Administrator will be responsible for overseeing the administration of the Business Objects, Metadata, Life Cycle Management, Explorer, Excelsus and BO Data Services runtime environments. *Responsibilities:* · Ensure that the production environment is highly available per the needs of the business and established Service Level Agreements (SLA’s). · Assure the day to day operations and accuracy of Business Intelligence enterprise reporting and analytical solutions. · Define, design, implement and support of SAP Business Objects Enterprise Suite, including Crystal Reports, Xcelsius (Dashboard), Web Intelligence, Data federator, etc. · Provide administration of SAP Business Objects Suite - installation, configuration, monitoring, and patch/upgrade management. · Work closely with Business Analysts, developers and Database Administrators to address business needs and issues in timely fashion. · Monitor request queues, understand, prioritize and ensure that all critical items are addressed. · Communicate effectively and efficiently with team, management, customers and vendors per understanding of proven BI/Data Warehouse best practices. · Perform SAP Data Services installations, upgrades, and support/enhancement package updates · Business Objects Data Services Admin (BODS Admin) experience, preferably in a high volume production support environment including BW on HANA · Should have extensive client interaction experience including transition planning for the BOBJ and BODS Admin areas · Experience in technical troubleshooting like installation, patching upgrading BODS environment · BODS SSO setup experience · Experience on BODS on Windows/SQL Server platform · Knowledge on standalone and cluster DS installation of Data services application and configuration · RFC, adapter and web service configuration and troubleshooting skills · Job server configuration and administration · Server groups configurations and troubleshooting skills · Sound knowledge on Promotional management configuration and process across the landscapes Required skills/Experience · BS Degree in Computer Sciences or related field at minimum, · 8+ years overall Information Technology experience · 6+ years of working knowledge with SAP Business Objects administration · 3+ years’ experience on supporting Business Objects 4.0 or higher from an infrastructure perspective · Must be strong in implementation/configuration/upgrade/administration of BODS and BOBJ · Experience in SAP Data Services, Server Installation, Configure, Upgrade and Implementation for BODS 4.x. · Demonstrated success in building, implementing and supporting BI enterprise reporting, and analytical solutions · Expertise in administering, deploying, installing and configuring Business Objects. · Excellent design, development and testing experience in Business Objects Enterprise 4.0,4.1 Crystal Reports and Xcelsius dashboards. · Expertise of the Central Management Console (CMC) and Central Configuration Manager (CCM) · Strong working knowledge and usage of Infoview, Crystal Report, Webi and Import Wizard tool · Expertise configuring Active Directory in Business Objects for SSO · Expertise in Business Objects clustering · Experience with building a BO environment from the ground up in a virtualized cluster environment, knowledge on understanding of virtualization technologies a plus · Working knowledge of the Integration between BOBJ and other SAP products (e.g. ERP, BW) · Expertise in sizing and configuring various Business Objects services. · Ability to manage performance monitoring and tuning of the environments. · Excellent written and verbal communication skills, plus people and interpersonal skills · Ability to work independently, self-motivated with excellent analytical skills · Strong organizational, multi-tasking and time management skills to meet task deadlines · Good knowledge ODBC drivers configuration for different source systems · Data store and open hub table creation and configuration skills · Troubleshooting of the Data service jobs performance issues · Good understanding on traces and logs *Amith* *Sr. Recruitment Manager* *Zenith tech Solutions Desk: **518-621-004* <518-621-0048>*6* * Fax: **518-244-4977* <518-244-4977> * 3 park Hill* *Albany, NY 12204 a...@zenithtechsolutions.com <am...@zenithtechsolutions.com>* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Hot List" group.
