Mentors junior developers and assists project management with project operations. Performs the duties of a senior enterprise-level JAVA developer whose responsibilities include design, integration, and construction of J2EE applications, production support of those applications, mentoring junior developers, and assisting project management with project operations. Defines manages and maintains application server configurations and application builds using ANT scripts. Implements new system software or modifications to existing software with minimal impact to users. Participates in application design sessions – proposing and documenting technical alternatives required to achieve business objectives and assisting management with systems architecture and design. Completes all programming, testing and analysis functions based on business requirements. Creates detailed design specifications for subsequent programming and implementation.
