Deployed enterprise-wide at healthcare organizations, the client solution is proven to improve turnaround time, increase productivity, and reduce costs of medical transcription, without interfering with clinician workflow. As a senior member of the client Backend team the responsibilities include the next generation Cloud based transcription management system design and development. Will work closely with other members of the team on requirements capture, design, development, testing, and deployment. Must have previous experience working on medium- to large-scale, mission critical production systems that directly support essential business or technical functions. *Qualifications:* - 10+ years of Java development experience. - A minimum of 5 years developing server-side web applications. - Experience to scope, architect and develop application features using an agile software development methodology. - Strong technical skills covering the design and implementation of cross platform distributed systems are a must. - Strong Object Oriented Design experience. - J2EE, good knowledge of Relational Databases and SQL (JDBC). - Experience with at least two of the following technologies: REST, Spring, MVC, Lucene/Solr, JMX. - Knowledge of micro-services and component based architecture. - Experience in developing high volume and secure applications for ASP environment. - Experience developing under Linux (some familiarity with bash and Perl). - Good debugging and troubleshooting skills. - Good communication and reporting skill. - High command of verbal and written English. - Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math or related field. - Experience in the medical software industry is preferred.
