*Position: System Administration* *Location: San Jose, CA (MUST MAKE IN PERSON INTERVIEW) LOCAL ONLY* *Duration: 6 months* *rate $45/hr c2c max* *INTERVIEWS*: Must be in San Jose or willing to relocate on their own, and must be able/willing to do on-site interview. Will likely do phone/Skype interview first, but 2nd will be in-person *REQUIREMENTS:* - Mid- to Sr. level Sys Admin, with srong background in Linux (Red Hat preferred) system administration - Clustering experience - Scripting experience--Shell or Perl - Working knowledge of HP-UX--troubleshooting, performance improvement, etc. - Good experience with storage technologies--EMC or NetApp, or similar - Very good communication *System Administrator – Storage (NetApp, EMC) Experience Desired Skills and Experience* • Expert in UNIX system administration • Expert in manager storage sub systems like EMC, NetApp • Working experience on openstack • 6-8 years of industry experience on similar size company • Medium to expert knowledge in scripting-Perl, Shell with knowledge on Python or Ruby a plus • Familiar with cloud operations including automation • Can handle incidents/problem and should be able to build new systems *UNIX/LINUX: * • Skilled in Red hat LINUX 5x (networking, kernel parameters & tuning, troubleshooting system & performance issues, package management, patch mgmt.) • Working knowledge of HP-UX 11.1, 11.2 (networking, kernel parameters & tuning, troubleshooting system & performance issues, package management, patch mgmt.) • Troubleshooting knowledge - OS and Hardware/Ability to order, configure and install equipment/Ability to repair, reconfigure and install servers/clusters • Ability to manage cases to resolution, refresh/copy databases using Unix commands & scripts • Sound volume management skills/preferably hp (lvm will be plus) • Clustering experience: HP MC/SG, GFS, Veritas Clustering and Oracle RAC on LINUX • Basic level scripting (either shell or Perl should be fine) but should be capable of understanding other shell scripts • Ability to work with users to detail service delivery requirements and system functionality/ work closely with DBAs, client teams and management • Knowledge of Cisco Unified Computing System (UCS) is a plus • Knowledge of EMC & NetApp storage products/tools like rdf, snaps (preferably with EMC) is a plus Regards *Mayank* 978-558-4666 x 103 *may...@teknavigators.com* <may...@teknavigators.com> *TekNavigators* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Hot List" group.
