*The Senior Cloud Engineer will:*
- Mature an AWS Cloud platform and support development of new services
including automation, self-service orchestration enhancements, and creation
of REST APIs.
*Qualifications:*
*Required Skills:*
- Hands-on experience with AWS and its services including VPC, S3, EBS,
ELBs, Auto-Scaling, Lamda, Docker, etc
- Experience with:
- Software development with automation languages such CloudFormation,
Ansible, Chef, or Puppet
- Either web application development or scripting
- Programming in either Java, C#, or other modern languages
- Scripting languages (Ruby, Perl, Shell, Python, Powershell, etc)
- Cloud technologies, tools, techniques, and methodologies
- Linux and/or Windows operating systems
- Familiarity with software design principles and artifacts
*Desired Skills:*
- Familiarity with:
- Configuration Management principles and tools, particularly Git and
Git Flow, Jenkins and Splunk
- Software system installation
- Security principles, including SSP packages for FISMA systems
- Experience with:
- System administration including middleware installation and
maintenance
- One or more databases (Oracle, MongoDB, MySQL)
- Agile (scrum)
