St Louis MO Duration: 6+ months contract Rate: market Interview method: face to face preferred, will do skype Need skills matrix below completed Responsibilities include: · Lead a software groups in the design, development and implementation of complex software programs in accordance with project budgets and release schedules. · Work closely with Product Managers to develop long-range plans and software product specific strategies to reach company and departmental goals. · Facilitate knowledge and experience sharing with the team and other personnel. · Improve processes and procedures, implementing necessary changes, to increase effectiveness. Continually review existing processes and procedures to ensure optimal effectiveness is maintained. · Proactively identify opportunities where Software Development can offer services to solve business problems, obtaining user requirements, and ensuring the project management process is visible to all stakeholders. · Interface with (internal and external) customers to promote company’s software services and gain understanding of their business requirements. · Keep management and other internal IT clients informed of project schedules, issues, and objectives in a timely manner. · Set and enforce IT operating procedures and guidelines, governance of IT processes. · Investigate and keep abreast of technology trends that might provide benefit to our users or increase the efficiency of existing systems.
