*Position: MQ Message Broker Admin* *Location: Montvale, NJ(Local only)* *Duration: 6 months* *I have a long time contract opportunity for a Senior MQ Message Broker Admin in Montvale, NJ. Candidate MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE with distributed queuing, SSL, authentication, and experience maintaining existing high-available Multi-instance MQ infrastructure. * *The candidate must be available to come onsite for an in person interview in Montvale, NJ. * *Responsibilities: * - Administrate and maintain existing high-available Multi-instance MQ infrastructure. - Create queue managers, queues (local and remote), processes, triggering; setup MQ channels of all types. - Setup MQ Cluster and perform Cluster Workload Management tasks. - Establish secured channels with SSL and MQ’s authentication record. - Setup object-level authorization using MQ’s Object Authorization Manager interface. - Perform regular support, upgrade, and patch application. - Work closely with WebSphere Application Server team in supporting application development needs. - Provide off-hour support when necessary. - Share knowledge with other team members to achieve team goals. - Being self-driven, taking initiatives for improving our MQ infrastructure. *Skills required:* - *Competent knowledge and experience in administrating MQ v8 environment:* Have solid knowledge in distributed queuing as well as publish/subscribe protocol within MQ. - Possess experience in setting up MQServer as well as MQClient infrastructure in distributed platforms, especially AIX and LINUX. - Familiar with common MQ administration and related tools including MQExplorer, RFHUtil. - Familiar with MQ’s security interfaces: Object Authorization Manager, Channel Authentication Record, and SSL enabled channels. - Have solid knowledge in UNIX O/S and strong ability in UNIX shell scripting. - Possess excellent English writing and oral communication skill. *Skills as big pluses:* - Experience in administrating Message Broker/ Integration Bus, v.9/10. IIB message flow development.
