Role:Lead/Sr.Java Software Engineer Basking Ridge, NJ. 6-month so only US Citizens, Green Card or EAD/Green Card. The manager will do phone and web cam interviews. Lead/Senior Java Developer - what both managers are looking for is someone that is a senior developer, but also someone that is the first line of escalation for any technical issues. Someone that is extremely strong technically, may or may not have had the title "lead developer," but has all the qualities of a lead developer. Can recommend solutions, has worked with the latest technologies, etc. Position Description As a Lead/Senior Java Software Engineer you will play a key role in project delivery as both an individual contributor and by interfacing with onshore and offshore development teams. You will design, build and deliver highly performant and scalable web applications and APIs by leveraging your strong technical foundation, interpersonal and project management skills. *Primary Responsibilities* • Perform all phases of software engineering including requirements analysis, application design, code development and testing • Design and implement product features in collaboration with business and IT stakeholders • Design reusable components, frameworks and libraries • Work very closely with architecture groups and drive solutions • Participate in an Agile/Scrum methodology to deliver high-quality software releases • Design and develop innovative solutions to meet the needs of the business • Review code and provide feedback relative to best practices and improving performance • Troubleshoot production support issues post-deployment and come up with solutions as required • Mentor and guide other software engineers within the team • Develop reusable patterns and encourage innovation that will enable team velocity • Estimate engineering work effort for engineering team and effectively identify and prioritize the high impact tasks • Conduct design and code reviews to ensure code developed meets coding best practices guidelines, unit testing, security, and scalability and maintainability guidelines • Drive a quality mindset within the team To be considered for this position, applicants need to meet the qualifications listed in this posting: *Required Qualifications:* • 7+ years Java experience with most recent work in enterprise class web application development. • Strong Knowledge of Web Application Architectures and framework. • Good understanding of network/socket protocols and its functioning. • 3+ years in a Leading teams developing complex enterprise class web application • Strong hands-on experience with spring framework (or J2EE) & AngularJS or NodeJS. • Strong experience of one or more ORM technologies (like Hibernate, JPA, or similar) • Demonstrated success in building design patterns and software engineering best practices • Experience with Agile Methodology • Experience with XML/JSON and developing SOAP and REST services • Experience with automated unit testing technologies (Such as JUnit, Spock, or similar) • Good understanding of SQL, relational database modeling and design *Preferred Qualifications:* • Experience with commercial software development and/or healthcare industry experience • Sound understanding of core OOPS as well as JEE Design patterns as well as their implementation in real world applications • • Experience in projects requiring application re-engineering, modernization • Experience with Maven • Experience with Groovy Regards *Himanshu* 978-558-4666 x 104 *himan...@teknavigators.com* <himan...@teknavigators.com> *TekNavigators LLC* *100 Cummings Center, Suite 207 P, Beverly, MA 01915* *www.*teknavigators.com DISCLAIMER: This message and any attachments are solely for the use of the individual or entity to which it is addressed and may contain information that is privileged or confidential.
