Hi,
On my StrongARM SA1100 embedded system, DirectFB always report error:
(!!!) *** CAUTION [unable to adjust heap offset] *** surfacemanager.c (210)
But the program running is not affected. Is it message a error, or just
a warning that I can ignore?

I guess you get this error during initialization. The latest CVS version has a fix for this problem. It occured if the primary surface was using 100% of video memory. This is not really a problem, just an annoying message.

This also means that your hardware has no offscreen memory, so that DirectFB will always create system surfaces only.
