hmm, it was my own fault or maybe configure.in is not doing the right thing(tm). it checks savage support in kernel header /usr/include/linux/fb.h, but this is an old kernel header i compiled glibc with (as advised by several tuxes, i.e. linus t.). i think there should be a "--with-kernel-headers=" configure option, or something like this. or at least it could use /lib/modules/`uname -r`/build/include. dunno. > I just crashed for me, but please test it, and tell me if it works for > you. I also would like to know which savage do you have. ok, it does not crash, but it does not improve performance either. it looks like it falls back to the software rasterizer, though it says it loads S3 savage 4 driver. :-( i test this on a twister-T chipset/via-VT8603. http://www.kontron.com/products/pdproductdetail.cfm?keyProduct=34569&kps=1681&kp=236 best regards ... clemens FYI: i have also an epia M6000 and tested the cle266 driver and it rocks! :) -- Info: To unsubscribe send a mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with "unsubscribe directfb-dev" as subject.
