DirectFB's matrox driver was never tested on big endian machines, I
guess it wont work.
you can try to put
disable-module=matrox
in your /etc/directfbrc

Hi everybody
i've just compiled DFB 0.9.23 on a PReP (PowerPC RS6000 43P/140)
machine where a Matrox Mystique VGA card is installed.
Tought console output is redirected to ttyS1 at boot time the tux
logo is displayed correctly on the monitor, so i supppose the
framebuffer interface of the kernel works correctly.
Anyway after launching the "simple" demo app i get the following
error message
