I've tried GTKDFB 2.9.x and it's broken, so i suggest you to stay with GTKDFB 2.8.10 until GDKDFB becomes part of GTK+. You could try to compile a complex app like the GIMP against GTKDFB and see if you can find out any bug (as GIMP is maybe the ost complex GTK application ever, it's a very good testbench for a GDK backend). Mike is actually moving from east cost to LA, so we'll have to wait until he settled down in california for the merge to happen (GTK release 2.10 should be the first GTK release ever to include GDKDFB)
