Hi. I'm going to use DirectFB for providing some very basic applications in an embeded system (like OLPC). Hopefully.
Now I see that DirectFB *can* work without iopl() (in the general case we'll just miss waitretrace(), pitty the FBIOWAITRETRACE wasn't accepted). Now, except waitretrace() are there any other places that need this kind of priviledges? Does DirectFB use /dev/mem or other hacks that are disabled by BSD Secure levels? If I allow all users to rw /dev/fb0 and /dev/mouse, will it work? Thanks, jerald --- _______________________________________________ directfb-dev mailing list [email protected] http://mail.directfb.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/directfb-dev
