If recent fixes to usb-modules by frans solved touchpads not working on 
i386, then it makes sense to me too not disabling linux_input by default 
for all architectures as i previously suggested, but maybe for PPC boxes 
only (with proper exceptions).
Of course we need some support from DFB guys: detecting what's wrong 
with linux_input on PPC boxes is not something i can do myself.
