Well, I have to admit, at the time I tried to do all this I was after a quick solution as I only actually wanted linux-fusion to be pulled after a kernel upgrade, but for the future, I'd really like to fix my ebuilds, and I also thought (like Richie did too, please see the other branch of this thread) about proposing an overlay. What do you think, dok, of an overlay for layman? I'd try to fix the ebuilds I need, anyway, in my local overlay.
