Hi,

It seems that when the Makefile is calling the linker, it is searching for
Xlib based libraries.

Did you disable the use of Xlib when configuring evolution (something like
--without-x)?

Sometimes the autotools don't search the things where you expect, so you
need to give them explicitly the paths using environment variables or edit
the Makefiles by hand.
