The Radeon is similar to the Rage128. I know one person with a builtin
Radeon (Apple Powerbook) examining the differences by playing around
with the Rage128 driver.

The Rage128 driver will be rewritten for Rage128 and Radeon.
These cards support all functions provided by DirectFB (like Matrox).

I don't know when development of the new driver starts but I will
remind these two guys (Andi and Prom) very often ;)

I would be very happy about fully supported ATI cards but I personally
don't have enough time to do it on my own.
