I'm having problems with multi-app support. I installed linux-fusion,
compiled DirectFB with multi-app support. Everything went smoothly. I can
run a single app just fine like without multi-app support. But actually
running multiple apps doesn't work. I've only tried with XDirectFB and
mplayer w/ dfbmga. If I run mplayer from an xterm as a normal user X
freezes and I have to use sysrq-k to get back to the console. Running
mplayer as root makes it behave like it was the only app running and after
exiting it I can't get back to the X desktop. I managed to get back to the
console and I saw lot if X threads in the process list. I had to use kill
-9 to get rid of them.

Now, it's been a few months since I last used multi-app but at that time I
could actually make this work. I had X running on my monitor and mplayer
on my TV. It looks like linux-fusion changes have broken something. Any
ideas what's going on?
