It should find it from /usr/local too. That's where I install my DirectFB
and I've never had any problems. Maybe you don't have /usr/local/lib in
your ld.so.conf.

On G450 this can happen for two reasons:
1. the driver can't determine chip type from /proc/bus/pci in which case
an error will be printed.
2. matrox-crtc2 option isn't specified.

They shouldn't affect the TV output in any way. Or do you mean via
/dev/fb1?
