Hi, try this: ftp://artemis.phys.uoa.gr/pub/byzgl/packages/vo_directfb2.c this is a replacement for the original vo_directfb2.c from Jiri which work fine for me (not always, it mplayer crashes sometimes). I use this in ByzantineOS... to minimize the mplayer window press 'm'.
