I have a Rage 128 Ultra AGP running, and am trying to set up lilo so that I can get the accelerated ATI framebuffer. I'm just using "vga=788" as a stopgap for now.
I though it would be simple to find this information on google since the Rage 128 is a common card, but I've been surprisingly unsuccessful. Here's my current best guess: append="video=aty128fb:1024x768" I get no framebuffer during boot or on a terminal after boot. I *can* do a "modprobe aty128fb" and get a 640x480 accelerated terminal once booted, but I'm trying to automate the process.
