Anyone tried any of the newer radeon cards on Linux? framebuffer support? what it takes to create an fb driver? Ive never done any hardware programming.. Id like to get started, perhaps a framebuffer driver is a bit of a tough start? I recently got a sapphire radeon 9600XT 256ram. I was under the impression that all radeon cards where supported with the fb/directfb drivers but I guess I was wrong..
