As far as I know the framebuffer as well as the touchscreen of the Ipaq are supported by DirectFB - please just try compiling and running the various examples on your device, it might work right away :) If you expeirence problems or glitches, please report them here or rather on the directfb-developers list, so we can help you extend DirectFB to cover your device.
