Despite searching the mail archives I am still not quite sure I have a
grasp on the Voodo concept:
What I have is an Embedded Linux system whithout any graphics hardware,
but a camera and 100baseT interface.
What I want is to have an application running on the Embedded which
generates a custom menu structure and camera images to be displayed on
another computer (ideally just a smart graphics terminal with touchscreen)
on the other end of the 100baseT.
Is Voodo/DirectFB a sensible approach to this or what else is there?
