All of your suggestions worked, I have discovered that
the display is not being updated back to the command
line when I exit out of the examples.
The computer does respond them I type the command
"reboot", I just cannot see it.
The screen is stuck on the last frame of the example.
I even tried switching monitors with the last frame on
the screen, when I did the second monitor showed the
exact same frame as the first monitor did.
