I build an static appl using a dfb without gtk in the past. Denis gived me a help with this. If there is not information about It, I could write some guide lines to do it...
For GTKDFB static link, I will describe all the steps with the intention write this on wiki page (I nerver wrote on this page, I will need some help with this stuff)... Now gtkdfb is part of gtk, look at the GTKDFB section of DFB's wiki http://www.directfb.org/wiki/index.php/Main_Page for a howto about GTKDFB building and cross-compiling.
