I've got my softdevice setup with cle266 / viatv working, but I
still get TV overscan. How do I turn it off?
I've got in modprobe.conf
options viafb mode=720x576 bpp=32 TVon=1 TVtype=2
Maybe the TVoverscan=1 module option ?
viafb mode=720x576 bpp=32 refresh=50 TVon=1 TVoverscan=1
[EMAIL PROTECTED] ~]# fbset -i
mode "720x576-50"
# D: 13.500 MHz, H: 15.625 kHz, V: 50.000 Hz
geometry 720 576 720 1152 32
timings 74074 80 0 43 0 64 6
laced true
rgba 8/16,8/8,8/0,8/24
endmode
Or the bcast flag in /etc/fb.modes (IIRC, this is related to the
"noscale" mode)
bcast true
This one fixed it. I'm baffeled, I thought viatv used it's own
internal configuration for TV output, as the matroxtv output code..
I'm surprised this little board provides the good output it does.
Pans are very smooth.
Do you know if the board can be configured to output RGB through it's
scart output?
