i'm new to directfb (and xdirectfb)) but it seems to me this is a great
thing. thank you for this nice project.
is it possible to rotate screen with xdirectfb? google sez nothing
usable about this. as far as i get it, xdirectfb supports randr
extension, but running xrandr -o {1,2,3} fails with this:
>X Error of failed request: BadMatch (invalid parameter attributes)
> Major opcode of failed request: 151 (RANDR)
> Minor opcode of failed request: 2 (RRSetScreenConfig)
> Serial number of failed request: 12
> Current serial number in output stream: 12
fbset sez:
>mode "480x640-99"

i think timings are wrong for this device (pxa272 armv5 PDA with
portrait vga screen), but directfb-examples work great...
by the way, there is an error about "panning display failed" during x
server startup, but it looks to me non critical...
