Hi you all, I'm working on an university project with a TI board (EVM of DM6437), VLX and Virtuallogix Linux. I have a simple GTK application here, and I compiled it using the libs available for this board (libgtk-linux-fb-2.0 and libgdk-linux-fb-2.0, besides atk, pango, etc...). There is also directfb available and the kernel is well compiled with framebuffer support. So I wrote an init script to start the application on system startup and when I was running the system I got these messages:
Gdk-WARNING -: can't open /dev/console : no such device Gtk-WARNING -: can't open DISPLAY: This is my very first time using gtk-fb and directfb, so I just don't know what to do. I guess that I should start some fb server before running the application, just like we do when using a X server, but I couldn't find it. I found no help on the mail-list archives...
