For the ones that have same question that I did, I found how to configure lirc.
In the directfb page, news section, year 2001, Release: DirectFB 0.9.5: - New LIRC input driver, name your keys (lirc config file) like the DirectFB keycode enum does without the "DIKC_" prefix, e.g. "OK", "MENU" or "VOLUMEUP". -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] on behalf of Hugo Cesar Crohare Lavalle Sent: Tue 4/1/2008 2:22 PM To: directfb-users@directfb.org Cc: Subject: [directfb-users] lirc About the lirc issue, I made some tests since yesterday: - dfbinfo showed me that lirc is an available input device (ID 03). - I run "dfbinput -d 03" - Then I run my application, with printf to show some results (evt.type,evt.key_symbol,evt.key_code) of IDirectFBEventBuffer->GetEvent It outputs something only when I press the numbers from 0-9 of the remote control. Am I in the right way ? -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] on behalf of Hugo Cesar Crohare Lavalle Sent: Mon 3/31/2008 5:01 PM To: directfb-users@directfb.org Cc: Subject: [directfb-users] lirc and streaming Hi, Anybody could please give me some basic directions on how I use lirc on DirectFB, and how to play a streaming (rtsp) ? Any example, howto, or old email of this forum would be nice. I already have a good understanding of lirc. I have been using in Ubuntu a home-brew receiver (I built it myself), with irexec and irxevent. But I do not know how use it with DFB. The streaming I want to do it with VLC.
