I am not sure about the difference between STLinux and STAPI. I am using a
rootfs which is derived from STLinux. It has precompiled directfb1.0 so
files inside.

Acoording to lsmod i have some module related with stapi
stgfb_core 113912 1
front7segment 11348 0
evdev 8544 2
stapi_ioctl 941828 0
stapi_core 3047448 2 stgfb_core,stapi_ioctl
mme_host 31800 1 stapi_core
embxshm 28372 0
embxmailbox 11920 1 embxshm
embxloopback 8864 0
embxshell 28808 5
stapi_core,mme_host,embxshm,embxmailbox,embxloopback

On the target machine which is mounted via NFS to my /st710x directory, when
i ran the df_particle i didn't see a smooth fountain movement. The animation
was too slow so that i think there is no acceleration.

As i know it is a STLinux2.2 target rootfs which has precompiled drivers.
And i am not sure how the direcfb files are compiled. Better i use
STlinux2.3 and use the drivers there.
