Hi guys,

I'm trying to set my device to use 960x540, but I'm having some
difficulties.

When I execute *fbset "1280x720-60"* the resolution changes as expected. A
single *fbset* command at this point will reveal:
*mode "1280x720-60"
    # D: 74.250 MHz, H: 45.000 kHz, V: 60.000 Hz
    geometry 1280 720 1280 720 16
    timings 13468 220 110 20 5 40 5
    hsync high
    vsync high
    accel true
    rgba 5/10,5/5,5/0,1/15
endmode
*
I can also set the resolution to "1920x1080-50" and successfully load a dfb
application to display a image on the screen.

However, when I try* fbset "960x540"*, the screen goes black and here's what
I got:
*mode "960x540-205"
    # D: 74.178 MHz, H: 59.821 kHz, V: 204.517 Hz
    geometry 960 540 960 540 32
    timings 13481 148 88 35 5 44 5
    hsync high
    vsync high
    laced true
    accel true
    rgba 8/16,8/8,8/0,8/24
endmode*

*960x540-205 *seems weird, doesn't it? I tried different settings in
/etc/fb.modes and of course it didn't help a bit.

The current /etc/directfbrc:
*mode=1280x720-60
pixelformat=ARGB
hardware
desktop-buffer-mode=backvideo*

What am I missing?

Thanks for your help
