Hello
the last days i was playing around with sawman and tryed to setup my own
little windowmanager. The problem I ran into is that I cant change the size of
the handled windows from within the manager.
If i use ISaWManManager->SetWindowConfig() with config.bounds and
SWMCF_POSITION|SWMCF_SIZE as flags it just scales the application, so all
fonts/buttons etc. getting smaller. Thats a nice feature I will use heavily,
but I also need to set the applications size so that fonts and stuff keep size
and just the boarder get smaller/bigger (and the widgets which are supposed to
shrink/grow with the applications size)
My idea was to use the IDirectFBWindow interface, which i hope can do that
(actually I have never written something with dfb so the structure is not 100%
clear) but it seems impossible to get the window from within sawman.
Any ideas how to achive application resizing?
Thanks,
Stefan
