hi ikudo,
Hi this is Latha.
Hey sorry for that mail.
I am not sure about the 1st thing you asked.
But Portion of PNG can be displayed on output.
1). While creating a surface (not for Main surface) for PNG, give the full PNG
size.
2). But while Bliting to the Main surface,
Blit's 3rd parameter is const DFBRectangle, give the position and size.
for DFBRectangle give the portion of PNG you want to display.
But its not copying portion of image and display to output.
Its like whole PNG will be on output,
but bliting(showing) only the portion of PNG on display.
Regards,
Latha R.

Subject: [directfb-users] directfb color manipulation
Hi,
I am a newbie on embedded linux and with the directfb lib,
I need to do 2 things but I can't find the solution, thanks for helping me
First , i need to load a image file for example a png file
and modify a specific color by another one :
for example modify the black color to the yellow color without modify the
others.
my frame buffer is in 24bits mode. Is directfb can do it easily or i need to
write a function to do this ??
Second, Is it possible to copy only a portion of this png file to the output
display ??
Thank you.
