You've obviously seen the previous correspondence. I suppose this is also a problem with locales and/or software versions. You haven't supplied any information at all about what operating system(s) you use or your versions of rsync and dirvish. That makes it hard to help. You've probably already seen that I said I don't know much about locales and different character set issues. Perhaps Yeray Gutiérrez Cedrés has a solution by now?
