thanks for your thoughts.
i'll put together a brief outline that addresses these issues and others
for development that fit with my product needs.
the search and restore feature would be nice to start. lessening user
annoyance when a file goes missing.
i'd like to not have to do such a thing for them. i definitely want to
have a designated admin have appropriate permissions, not every user
like a cifs/smb readonly share.
root access is a real dealbreaker though. i haven't dug deeply into the
development code... is there a doc somewhere that could
bring me up to speed on status and features being worked on? maybe a
roadmap? i've looked breifly on the wiki.
