The short answer is that I don't know. But I'd suggest instead that you
delete the incomplete backup, perhaps after completing the current one.
Then you won't have any duplicate files. An alternative would be to keep
all the backups but run something like faster-dupemerge afterwards to
eliminate the duplicate files.
