Think very much forward to the future, are there multi-threaded or
distributed
FFT algorithms available and packaged for easy integration?
I'm thinking ahead to doing fine-grained FFTs on data streaming off of
the USRP,
in support of SETI work. When you're looking for sub-Hz resolution
spectrograms
for 10Mhz wide data, handling the FFT across multiple CPUs seems
attractive.
