I just wanted to take a moment and recognize the great work that our GSoC participants have been doing this year. They've all provided us updates throughout the summer, and I'm really excited to see how they finish up over the next few weeks. We're improving GRC, developing 802.11 capabilities, pushing forward with using coprocessors like FPGAs, and developing FECs capabilities. We've seen great things come from the GSoC program for the past two years, and we are particularly interested in what these students are doing because they will help us define the future for GNU Radio.
All GSoC participants will have an opportunity to present their exiting work, during GRCon13. We believe the conclusions of these projects will enhance the rest of the program, which includes a number of high-quality sessions of various types - application examples, new-feature tutorials, and even a new working-group/feedback sessions designed to help us improve the project and community. Also, don't forget - we will be having a 1-day hackfest on the fourth day of the conference. The hackfest has proven to be a fun and highly productive way for our community to interact. We will be announcing the final agenda of GRCon13 next week. We look forward to everyone's participation! -- Tom Visit us at GRCon13 Oct. 1 - 4 http://www.trondeau.com/grcon13 _______________________________________________ Discuss-gnuradio mailing list Discuss-gnuradio@gnu.org https://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/discuss-gnuradio
