Hey,

a similar system to have customized source-builds is used by portage
(Gentoo Package Manager) which mainly builds all kind of sources. In the
Gentoo World customizing builds (of libraries, applications...) is
achieved with "USE-flags". Maybe we can adopt this concept to PyBOMBS?
I can imagine having a gnuradio-default.lwr with all features enabled
(most convienient for users) and a gnuradio.lwr with specified "USE
flags"/feature flags. With these feature flags one could specify changes
in configuration and dependencies.

When installing a recipe an option can be specified to install or not to
install a specific feature which is then reported/saved to the prefix
configuration.

Maybe we want to have a feature like this. Another option is to create
new recipes for different usages.

Cheers
Andrej
