Just wondering if this emacs bug ever got fixed? I'm keen to dump the

sadly no progress. The current status is that I have minimal patches to
make things "build" and startup on Linux. but all platforms which need
fake main have other differences to sort out and I tend to use the
latter platforms (namely BSD).
Honestly I am concentrating with Fred smoothing out issues in gui and
pantomime so that a release can soon be done. I have left one itching
bug in Pantomime so that GNUMail can get out.
Short of that, working this year on getting emacs working on GNUstep
would be really great, but I really do think that coding is required and
by looking at the code, it is not even easy. The build process with
liking is unique too (which could be the initialization issue that I see).
Besides of coding, It would be good to have direct contact with the
current Cocoa maintainers, so that certain things could be discussed. Do
you have them perhaps?
Thanks for your interest though.
