How stable is the Wayland backend?

I was able to get my environment to compile, I'm using the more modern ABI
features. I've got a consistent environment on both of my machines now.
With Wayland + Cairo being built, and I have SystemPreferences, Terminal
and GWorkspace building. I've tried labwc and wayfire and am finding lots
of stability issues with running this on Wayland. Is anyone else
encountering this? What environments are people running GNUstep under?
