OK, trying to register a .com

Went to http://www.geektools.com no record
Went to http://www.whois.net record their, no whios record available
Went to netsol, its available until the purchase area then its gone ?
tried on opensrs (my interface) and the domain is registered
went to www.internic.net and no records are returned

Is this domain expired ?  Any ideas ?
