You can only register a .ca right now (that is to be live before
Nov. 1) by meeting the same old restrictions such as the name must
be the same as the business name (not a generic name), the company
must be federally incorporated or must have physical locations in
more than one province. These rules will be in place until CIRA
takes over.
I've registered several domains recently through webnames.ca
(formerly cdnnet.ca) Not the cheapest, but they treat you fairly I
believe. OpenSRS isn't set up to take registrations to be
processed before Nov. 1 ((thank God, it is confusing enough as it
is!)
