Greetings! I do. I "bought" several when they went up on Great Domains. Look at Coolers.Net and Passfinder.com, for examples. I've NEVER seen an expiring domains go on Auction. These domains were registered on credit for $70 and the "buyer" defaluted. The $300 is a minimun for UNSOLICITED bids and is a recent addition to NSI's Whois database. This bid has nothing to do with defaulted domains put on sale -- they were never "auctioned" as the price was fixed at $70, the original defaulted value. Comes with 2 years of registrations, a $20ish value.
