Specifically, the .ltd.uk must be *exactly* the registered company name, with
spaces either removed or made into dashes. So WebWorlds Limited (us) can only
have webworlds.ltd.uk.
Of course, since we also have LocalWeb.co.uk Limited - that does raise some
interesting questions. localweb.co.uk.ltd.uk? I don't think so.

Not true - any Nominet registrar can register .ltd.uk & .plc.uk (same rules
but for Public Limited Companies), which is a lot cheaper than using Nominet
directly.
