The purpose of the deployment was to demonstrate to various parties that
Tucows was in possession of "nuclear technology". Turning on nameservers,
in my mind, is very much like booking range time at Cold Lake, Alberta. ;)

We proved our core point and truth be told, weren't comfortable moving any
closer to proving the political point that we could deploy an alternate
root system a la IOD or Name.space.

Hopefully later this afternoon the relative success of our POC will become
more evident as ICANN reveals four out of the five registry contracts we
were sucessful in obtaining from "new gTLD hopefuls".
