The WHOIS at www.opensrs.org is a forwarding server...it checks internic
first, then queries the server that's reported as authoritative.

There was some conversation on this list earlier today about the fact that
domains that have *just* been re-registered won't report the proper
information using this process, but generally speaking it works pretty well.

Subject: whois

Hi,

sorry, but it's me again ;)

Is there any whois server who can display ALL domains, no matter which
registrar registered them? Normally I would have to query internic.net
about the registrar, then querying it's whois server

I can query most domains directly via whois.networksolutions.com. But
for OpenSRS, this doesn't work.

Any tips?

Thanks!
Florian
